Lessons are structured around you and your ability with bespoke 1 2 1 lessons making your progression a lot faster.

Lancing, Worthing beach is the perfect place to learn kitesurfing as
our teaching area is less populated with kitesurfer’s.
Low tide brings large open space and calm shallow water making this location perfect for starting your kitesurfing experience.
We provide all equipment for your lessons – Insurance, wetsuits, helmets, life jacket, harness, kite equipment.
Courses run alongside the BKSA outlines.

WHAT IS KITESURFING
Kiteboarding is an action sport combining wakeboarding and power kite flying into one extreme sport.
Kitesurfing is a wind powered watersport harnessing the power of the wind to propel the rider across the water with a controllable kite using a kiteboard or surfboard.
There are different styles of kiteboarding including freestyle, wakestyle, big air, surfing, foiling, freeride, course racing.

Learn the skills to fly a power kite before progressing to a 4/5 line kite
Power kite flying, Kite control,

Kitesurfing day 2
Level 1 - part 2, 3, 4
Water based kite flying
- Applying you new kite flying skills to a (LEI) leading edge inflatable kite.
- Site assessment ( land & water )
- Control safety system
- Water relaunch techniques
- Launching & landing
- Body dragging
- Directional & up wind body dragging
- One handed flying
- Self rescue – emergency pack downs
- Kite setup.
Kite surfing day 3
Level 2 - Part 1, 2
Introduction to the board, Board starts.
- Recap on day 1 & 2.
- Site assessment, setup of kite – bar – lines
- Getting you back into the water, familiarise yourself with the kite and the new conditions for that day.
- Introduction to the board,
- Getting on and off the board with kite control, Board balance, Board start techniques.

Lift Watersports is based on the south coast at Worthing / Lancing beach, adjacent to West End Way, Brighton Road.
